The Environmental and Land Use Law Section’s Executive Council has tasked the Land Use Committee with examining the various aspects of quasi-judicial proceedings and possibly developing model rules or guidelines by the end of 2011. Given the recent developments in Tallahassee, and the likelihood of a much reduced State role in land use decisions, local government quasi-judicial proceedings will be even more important in the future.
Through the Land Use Committee’s listserve, a series of e-mail forums are being held to deal with specific quasi-judicial issues. Below is material that may be of use to our participants in this project as they consider the issues being raised. Additional information will be posted relative to each individual forum as they are held.
